The Horror Ridden Room

I entered the dark gloomy, dusky room, the door creaking slowly and carefully closed behind me, the room was eerie, with a spine tingling feeling to it, with a lot of cobwebs and darkness in the eerie corners.
The blinds were blood shed, cobwebs clinging to them like a safety net, as were the curtains, which showed a trace of white, indicating they were once white, now blanketed and soaked in blood.
I could hear the harsh menacing rain outside, it sounded like knifes cutting into the house roof, the wind sounded like the howls of the dead, the bedside lamp shimmered in cobwebs catching the tiny crack of moonlight through the curtains, the fire was in the grate, dark and ghastly looking, as if it were a new door to hell.
Two large mirrors hung high on the walls cracked in the middle with dry blood on the glass, as if a mad person had lost there temper on the mirror and punched it, so much so that they bled the knuckles?
But one thing didn’t add up…For inspector Charn, the hand mark at the bottom, with a big splatter of blood and dry bits of human flesh, stuck to the glass.
And n the wooden shelf two large brass candles flickering in the dimness.
I could hear the haunting ticking of the grandfather clock at least 6 foot high, I will never forget that all so taunting clock ..clicking away like a death trap, it looked like a ghastly tomb, the room wreaked with death, as Inspector charn climbed the stairs, a stair broke with her falling through on top of a headless body…..
